Position Summary The Packaging Associate is responsible for accurately and efficiently packaging cannabis products in compliance with company standards and state regulations. This role ensures product quality, proper labeling, and adherence to all safety and compliance requirements throughout the packaging process. Key Responsibilities Package cannabis products (e.g., flower, edibles, concentrates, beverages, cartridges) according to established SOPs Label products accurately in compliance with state regulations and company standards Verify batch information, METRC tags, and product specifications before and during packaging Inspect products for quality issues, including defects, contamination, or inconsistencies Maintain accurate counts of packaged units, waste, and damaged products Complete required documentation, logs, and production reports in a timely manner Ensure workstations are clean, organized, and compliant with sanitation standards (GMP) Follow all safety procedures and use PPE as required Assist with inventory movement and staging of materials as needed Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals New Gen Admin Services is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at our company. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous manufacturing, packaging, or warehouse experience preferred Experience in regulated industries (cannabis, food, pharmaceutical) is a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to follow detailed instructions and SOPs Basic math and counting skills Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours) Repetitive hand and wrist movements Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Work Environment Production and manufacturing setting Exposure to cannabis products (including allergens and strong odors) May require use of gloves, hairnets, safety glasses, and other PPE
