Screw Department Location•Hamilton, OH, 45015 Duration•12 months (Contract-to-Hire)
Pay Rate:
$19•21/hr. 2nd/4thShift Differential of $3.00/hr
Hours:
1st shift hours: 5:45am•3:45pm (MON-THUR / overtime possible on Fridays)
Job Summary:
Individual will perform machine setup and run Acme and Davenport screw machines. This is an outstanding opportunity for a qualified mechanically inclined machine set-up/operator to work with a great company that offers excellent benefits. Job Qualifications:
Relevant work experience; maintenance, mechanic, automotive mechanic, or trade school completion Perform standard math add, subtract, multiply, and divide
Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsible for operation of screw machines; including, loading bar stock, filling fluids, and removing chips from machine. Responsible for performing setup on screw machines; including, tooling changes, tool sharpening, and tool adjustments to ensure continued conformance to specifications. Responsible for conformance with quality specifications. Ability to assist other operators in performing tool changes, trouble shooting, and maintenance activities. Ability to assist in training others on operation and setup of screw machines.
Preferred Skills:
Mechanically inclined Individual needs to be good with tools and machinery and can adapt quickly to fixings things both familiar and unfamiliar. Perform standard math. Individual needs to able to perform standard math to effectively make machine adjustments. Reasoning ability Ability to think, reflect, and make decision to overcome obstacles.
