Machine Operator

Machine Setup & Operator Position Summary Responsible for setting up and operating production machinery, loading and unloading parts, and communicating process changes and results both verbally and in writing while adhering to strict production schedules. Shift- 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift Pay-$20.00-24.00 hourly Key Responsibilities Set up and operate machines in accordance with established procedures Load and unload parts efficiently and safely Inspect and verify finished workpieces to ensure conformance with customer specifications using precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges Maintain safe operations by following all safety procedures and regulations Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs to ensure continuity between shifts Complete production and quality documentation accurately and on time Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills Perform multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Take ownership of work and remain accountable for all actions Maintain reliable attendance and demonstrate a collaborative, team-oriented attitude Required Skills & Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude with basic shop math skills, including the ability to add and subtract decimals Ability to solve complex problems using critical thinking and math skills Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English Clear verbal and written communication skills in English High level of integrity, accountability, and conscientiousness Ability to work independently or as part of a team as required Strong commitment to safety at all times Physical Requirements Regularly lift, push, and/or pull up to 35 pounds Operate overhead cranes or other lifting equipment as needed Stand for at least 95% of the scheduled shift, including on raised platforms Walk or climb stairs as necessary to perform assigned job duties Routinely perform reaching, twisting, bending, lifting, and grasping motions Frequently use gross and fine motor skills to handle parts, tools, and equipment Vision requirements include close vision, color perception, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus 20/20 vision (natural or corrected) required, with the ability to pass annual vision testing #IND2
