Job Description

Plastics Operator:
We're looking for candidates with Machine Operator experience and a willingness to learn to join our client's team in Medina, Ohio. Previous plastics or extrusion experience is helpful, but not required. Our client is a fifth-generation family company with a strong focus on honesty, integrity, and diligent craftsmanship of their products.
Shifts:
Monday - Friday 2pm-10pm training from 6am-2pm for 8-12 weeks
Pay :
$19-$22 depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Produce products using several processes including pouring, extruding, pressing and dipping Measure, record, and adjust machines to maintain product consistency Stacking pallets Record data into the production tracking system Minimize downtime / scrap and recommendations on improving performance Trouble shoot machine/raw material issues Work/communicate with other departments as needed
Minimum Requirements:
Prior machine operation experience required Comfortable with software/printers Extrusion machine operation experience preferred High school diploma or GED Ability to read/write/perform basic math Good manual dexterity/coordination Can stand 8+ hours a day Must be able to tolerate hot conditions
