Overview We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in operating various saws and machining equipment. This role is essential in ensuring that materials are cut accurately and efficiently to meet production specifications. The Saw Operator will work closely with other team members to maintain high-quality standards and contribute to the overall success of the production process. Our work schedule is Monday-Thursday from 5AM-4PM with breaks and a one-hour lunch. Duties Operate and monitor saw machinery including Circular saw, Panel saw, Table Saw, Band saw & Radial arm saw to cut materials according to specifications. Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams and work order specifications. Utilize measuring instruments such as Tape Measure and Carpenter's Square to verify dimensions and angles of cut materials. Perform routine maintenance on saw equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with the machining team to assemble components as needed. Report defective materials or questionable conditions of goods and materials Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards. Forklift experience is not mandatory, but is preferred due to the warehouse environment. Qualifications Proven experience as a Saw Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs. Willing and able to work additional hours as required to meet customer demands. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, several times throughout the workday.
