Familiar with safety rules (SDS, PPE requirements, etc.). Operates in a Safe manner. Operates various molding presses following standard procedures (understanding press packet) Deflashes, inspects and packs parts as needed and palletizes finished goods correctly per work instructions Reports any non-conforming issues to shift supervisor Know and understand Quality Policy. Understands and performs visual criteria inspections. Verifies questionable parts with quality staff Fills out clean and legible reports (Scrap/Production Report, product labels) Responsible for a clean, orderly, and safe work area Clocks in/out for scheduled shift times Verifies job assignment and reports to assigned press at scheduled start time Respect co-workers, equipment and facility
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Maintains acceptable attendance for each month Must be able to stand while operating machinery Must be able to push, pull and lift 50 lbs. Understand difference between (WP) and (FG) products IQMS usage - clocks in/out properly for work/breaks Understands the difference between skill levels needed to progress through Operator I-III Understanding of all areas outlined on the Skills Checklist.
