JOB SUMMARY

Produce rubber products using press and mold operations. Monitor and operate equipment, ensuring proper flow and machine operation. This includes tasks like shifting materials and molds as needed. These operators also perform daily operation and PM of injection molding machines and verify the accuracy of documentation against work orders and customer specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate, unload and maintain, press to produce rubber products consistent with product specifications, while maintaining production and quality standards and controlling waste.

OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to work overtime to support production needs.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or GED required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS ESSNTIAL TO PERFORM THE DUTIES OF THE JOB

Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards. Ability to read and write. Ability to receive, track, and distribute materials, supplies, and equipment. Knowledge of light equipment operation and/or maintenance. Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork. Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers. Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects. Ability to perform simple arithmetic. Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel. Ability to receive, stock and/or deliver goods. Knowledge of postal or commercial shopping methods and procedures. Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average weight objects or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day. Work environment involves minimal exposure to physical risks, such as operating dangerous equipment or working with chemicals.
