Job Summary The Progressive Stamping Machine Set-Up/Operator- (High Speed Reel-to-Reel) is primarily responsible for all set-ups, tear downs, and operation of high-speed reel-to-reel progressive stamping machines. This position is on-site, Monday through Friday, 3:15 pm to 11:45 pm with the opportunity for overtime. 1st shift: 7A - 3:30PM Duties/Responsibilities Set up and operate progressive stamping machines to produce metal parts according to specifications. Perform necessary adjustments on all tooling and machines to ensure quality parts. Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and equipment, reporting tooling or machine malfunctions to the Tool Room or Maintenance Department. Set up Vamco gear feeds, PA industries Servo feeder, and pneumatic feeders. Tear down dies at the end of a run and complete the die repair tag. Completing production logs, die repair logs, and parameter set-up sheets in a timely and accurate manner. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Provide training for die operator(s) on safe and efficient machine operations. Restock all raw materials as required to maintain smooth production. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and quality. Proficient with micrometers, calipers, and comparator. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate detailed information. Ability to complete simple math such as add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Ability to resolve problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience in progressive stamping setup and/or operation. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Hand-to-finger coordination. Frequent standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms. Occasional sitting; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. #

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
