Compounding Operator

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Compounding Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for preparing and mixing compounds, operating compounding equipment, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following all plant rules and safety requirements. Responsibilities Perform all duties in accordance with health and safety requirements outlined in the safety manual Follow all plant rules and policies Maintain good housekeeping practices throughout the compounding area Review shop packets to ensure the correct resins, liquids, and additives are used Verify appropriate compounds and materials prior to processing Mix drums of compound as needed Operate compounding equipment, including: 1 and 4 Ball Mill 3 Roll Mill Littleford Mixer Check compound viscosity as required Deaerate compound using bell mixers Weigh pigments according to specifications provided by the Compounding Supervisor Clean compounding equipment as required Perform other duties as required Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Previous manufacturing or compounding experience a plus Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail and basic math skills Ability to work safely around industrial equipment and materials Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods Dependable attendance and ability to work the scheduled shift Benefits Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance 401(k) retirement plan Consistent Monday-Thursday schedule 6am-4pm (3-day weekends)
