Job Description

Job Title:
Kitting Associate Job Summary:
The Kitting Associate is responsible for assembling multiple components into completed kits according to established specifications. This role includes visual inspection, quality checks, functional testing, and final packaging of products. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and works well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and kit multiple components and subassemblies accurately according to work orders and instructions. Perform visual inspections and quality checks to ensure all parts meet company standards. Conduct basic testing to confirm product functionality when required. Package finished products safely and efficiently for shipment. Label and place completed kits on skids or designated storage areas. Maintain a clean and organized workstation. Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures. Work collaboratively with other team members and departments to meet daily production goals. Report any defective materials or assembly issues to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in kitting, assembly, or manufacturing preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to read and follow written instructions, diagrams, and work orders. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 lbs as needed. Dependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:
Manufacturing or warehouse setting. May involve repetitive motions and working around machinery or packing equipment. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. #INDJen
