Shifts Available and Hours:
Third Shift 10PM-6AM Shift Premium:
$1.00/hour extra for shift differential for working Second and Third Shifts. What you will be doing Perform machine set-ups and changeovers on production equipment to support manufacturing schedules and quality standards. Inspect and verify first-piece production using blueprints, specifications, gauges, and measuring equipment. Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, making adjustments to maintain productivity and product quality. Train and support machine operators on set-up requirements, work instructions, and quality checks. Complete and maintain accurate production, inspection, and set-up documentation. Conduct equipment inspections and report any safety, quality, or maintenance concerns. Follow all safety procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives within the production area. What will make you successful?Required Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year of machine set-up, machine operation, maintenance, tooling, or related manufacturing experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and production documentation.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues to maintain quality and productivity.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and meet the physical requirements of a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Machine set-up experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and quality inspection techniques.
- Experience with tooling, dies, fixtures, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Forklift and/or overhead crane operation experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Experience training or supporting machine operators.
