Shifts Available and Hours:
Third Shift 10PM-6
AM Shift Premium:
$1.00/hour extra for shift differential for working Second and Third Shifts. What you will be doing Perform machine set-ups and changeovers on production equipment to support manufacturing schedules and quality standards. Inspect and verify first-piece production using blueprints, specifications, gauges, and measuring equipment. Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, making adjustments to maintain productivity and product quality. Train and support machine operators on set-up requirements, work instructions, and quality checks. Complete and maintain accurate production, inspection, and set-up documentation. Conduct equipment inspections and report any safety, quality, or maintenance concerns. Follow all safety procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives within the production area. What will make you successful?
Required Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1 year of machine set-up, machine operation, maintenance, tooling, or related manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and production documentation.
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues to maintain quality and productivity.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and meet the physical requirements of a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
  • Machine set-up experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and quality inspection techniques.
  • Experience with tooling, dies, fixtures, and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Forklift and/or overhead crane operation experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience training or supporting machine operators.
