They are recruiting for an Extrusion Operator to join their team on 1st or 3rd shift in return for a salary in the region of $20 - $25 p/h along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental. Duties as an
Extrusion Operator:
Monitor extrusion machine startup and operation to maximize efficiency and meet shift production goals. Maintain continuous material flow through production equipment. Inspect finished product to ensure quality standards are met. Identify and help resolve production, quality, and equipment issues. Monitor equipment condition and report mechanical or electrical issues, malfunctions, or required adjustments. Maintain accurate production records and document process variances. Communicate process conditions and production issues between shifts and with supervision. Follow OSHA safety requirements and properly use required PPE. Respond appropriately to process upsets, equipment issues, and emergency conditions. Perform basic troubleshooting and support root-cause analysis when production or quality issues occur Qualifications & Experience required: Previous experience operating extrusion or similar production equipment preferred. Mechanically inclined with a understanding of industrial production equipment. Basic understanding of electrical equipment, rotating equipment, and valve operations . Experience with quality control, troubleshooting, and process monitoring . Ability to identify equipment malfunctions and communicate issues effectively to maintenance or supervision. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced production environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Safety-oriented with a commitment to following OSHA and plant safety procedures. Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
