JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Press Brake Operator who will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate metal parts according to specifications. This is a first shift position working from 5:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with overtime available.

Job Duties:

Set up and operate press brake machines to produce parts to exact specifications Interpret and work from blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders Select, install, and adjust tooling, dies, back gauges, and machine settings Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, tape measures, and other precision tools Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments for quality and efficiency Perform routine machine maintenance and report mechanical issues Maintain clean, organized work area following safety policies and procedures Work with team members and supervisors to meet production goals Troubleshoot problem and correctly fill out tags associated with production to identify parts produced Monitors the calibration of the equipment they use within their department Perform other duties as needed

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Job Qualifications:

Must have a High school diploma or GED One to 3 years of experience operating a press brake is preferred Must have excellent troubleshooting and mechanical skills Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Must have strong math skills, including understanding of measurements and tolerances Knowledge of metal types, thicknesses, and bending characteristics is required Must be able to accurately use precision measurement tools while being detail-oriented Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds and be comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive motions Safety shoe and glasses must be worn at all times Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
