Job type: Full-time, hourly, nonexempt Work location:
On-site Shift:
1st Shift - 6:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. with occasional Saturdays (half day)
Overtime:
Available and required when production needs dictate
Pay:
Based on experience Reports to: Production Lead Position summary Phoenix Steel Fabricating is looking for dependable, hardworking Machine Operators to join our growing team. In this role, you'll operate fabrication equipment including laser cutting machines, plasma tables, and press brakes while ensuring parts meet quality and safety standards. What You'll Do Operate production equipment safely and efficiently. Read work orders, drawings, and setup instructions. Inspect parts and verify dimensions using measuring tools. Perform routine machine checks and basic operator maintenance. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work with the production team to meet daily schedules and quality expectations. What We're Looking For Manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred. Ability to read a tape measure and follow written instructions. Strong attention to quality and safety. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Willingness to work overtime and occasional Saturdays as needed. Ability to learn multiple work centers and cross-train as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and work on your feet for the majority of the shift. Ability to regularly lift, handle, push, pull, and maneuver steel parts and material. Must be able to independently push, pull, rotate, and maneuver parts weighing up to 135 pounds . Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels and moving equipment. Why Phoenix Steel Fabricating?
