• The Extrusion Press Operator will be responsible for the process of applying coating to drawn and cut steel wire.
• Essential Functions:
• + Candidate must be able to learn all aspects of the extrusion and baking process. + This person must be mechanically inclined and willing to utilize these skills to enhance the value of the team. + Perform required quality checks + Complete machine setup/changeover promptly + Input data accurately into Routecard
• Qualifications
• + Able to stand for long periods of time + Must be able to work well with others. + Be safety conscious and have a "safety first" attitude. + Obtain a forklift license and be physically capable of safely operating the forklift + Must be willing to cross-train in other areas. + Press Operator experience preferred. + Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and climb ladders + Computer experience preferred.
