Job Description
Extrusion Operator II Location :
Twinsburg, OH Shift:
1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)Pay Range :
$21.50 - $24.50/hour (Based on experience) Job Summary The Extrusion Operator II works under moderate supervision to operate extrusion machinery in accordance with established procedures. This role is responsible for maintaining smooth production runs, ensuring product quality, and keeping accurate inspection and material records.Job Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Machine Operation:
Setup, operate, and monitor extrusion machines; run multiple machines simultaneously when required.Process Maintenance:
Perform specialized tasks including changing screen packs, cleaning extrusion crossheads, and making incremental adjustments to extruder inputs to maintain product specifications.Quality Control:
Continuously monitor processes for irregularities (e.g., blockages, temperature/pressure fluctuations) and inspect finished products against customer specifications.Material Handling:
Load raw materials to ensure consistent feeding; maintain a clean and documented workspace.Collaboration & Safety:
Adhere to all safety guidelines and PPE requirements; collaborate with team members and assist higher-level operators/technicians as needed.Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
1+ years of extrusion operator experience. PVC/TPE extrusion experience is highly preferred.Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Skills:
Ability to follow written work instructions, multitask, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and work both independently and collaboratively.Physical Demands:
Ability to stand/walk for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs., climb stairs/ladders, and perform frequent bending, kneeling, and overhead reaching.Compensation / Pay
