Job Description

The Visual Inspector is responsible for inspecting forged parts to ensure compliance with customer blueprints, specifications, and quality standards. This role supports daily manufacturing operations through visual and dimensional inspections, material handling, packaging, and production support activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced industrial environment while maintaining accurate records and a clean, organized work area. Key Responsibilities Visually inspects parts to assure compliance to customer drawing. Dimensionally inspects parts as required. Loads and unloads sorting tables as required. Moves parts to various plant locations as required. Records data using P.C. or manual records as required. Package and identify product using proper containers, banding, tags, labels, etc. Operates shotblast and transfer equipment to assure supply of parts for visual inspection as required. Participates in training programs as required. Assists maintenance as required. Keeps workplace and equipment clean and orderly. Shift Availability Ohio Star Forge currently has openings available on day and afternoon shift schedules. Shift placement and training schedules may vary based on business needs and operational requirements. $19.50 - $21.92 per hour
