JOB FUNCTION

To ensure product made is at or above the standards set by our customers - based on quality, correct packaging and on-time delivery.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Packs correct number of parts into prescribed carton
• Places identification label on full skids, and may be required to take full skid to its proper storage area
• Maintains clean and safe working environment in line with company policies. Responsible for cleanliness of work station, machine appearance, and floor surrounding the work station
• Sets aside parts that do not meet specifications
• Disposes of scrap
• Prepares necessary paperwork including: Plex labels
• Will be responsible for filling out In-Process Inspection Card, and assuring process is running acceptable quality level parts.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• May be responsible for the training of new associates, completing the New Associate Training/Evaluation Forms (FO18-03) May drive tow motor to load, unload parts and/or materials
• Keeps lead person, or supervisor apprised of material or line needs
• May help conduct periodic inventory

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or

G.E.D. QUALIFICATIONS

• Job generally involves standing for the full shift. There may be some bending or twisting.
• Mental alertness to change in quality of product, and to call for assistance when needed
• Ability to keep up with specified line rates.
• Manual dexterity required
• Satisfactory work records, including attendance
• Ability to lift 35 pounds infrequently (this amount can be reduced if associate has work related restrictions or limitations)

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• May be responsible for the training of new associates, completing the New Associate Training/Evaluation Forms (FO18-03) and the Part Training Verification Checksheet (FO18-45).
• Must have excellent work records, including attendance
• Must have the ability to convey training procedures effectively and clearly Must have a great attitude, patience and enjoy working with new associates

Pay:

$17.50 per hour
