Waterjet Operator Pay Range:
$24 - $27 per hour
Job Summary:
Operate waterjet tables to complete orders for glass, metal, gasket, or other products as assigned.
Essential Job Duties:
Run waterjet machine. Complete drawings utilizing installed software. Pull glass and other materials from inventory. Complete all customer orders as assigned by supervisor. Complete all required customer paperwork. Record inventory usage on glass sheets. Review order documentation, including blueprints and route sheets, for accuracy. Discard of scrap material. Move completed parts to next department (e.g., swiping area). Complete maintenance on machine as required. Ensure quality of work meets or exceeds company and customer requirements. Complete miscellaneous job duties as assigned.
Core Competencies:
Education:
High School Diploma required.
Physical:
Able to lift 25 pounds or more.
Technical Skills:
Experience with basic CAD preferred; able to read blueprints; machine tool experience helpful.
Soft Skills:
Teamwork, Customer/Client Focus, Flexibility, Organization.
Compensation / Pay
Rate (Up to): $24.00 - $27.00
