ProAmpac is seeking a Machine Operator to support our innovative flexible packaging production. In this role, you will set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment to safely produce high-quality films, pouches, and bags for food, healthcare, and industrial customers. Responsibilities include performing routine quality checks, adjusting machine settings, documenting production data, and following SOPs and safety procedures. You'll collaborate with a supportive, problem-solving team focused on continuous improvement, sustainability, and reliable delivery in a fast-paced, modern manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor packaging and printing machinery to meet production schedules Perform quality checks on flexible packaging products and adjust machine settings as needed Follow safety-first procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and collaborate with maintenance when needed Accurately record production data, material usage, and downtime in shop systems Work closely with teammates to improve processes, reduce waste, and meet quality standards Follow work orders, specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Inspect materials and finished goods for defects and ensure compliance with specifications Required Skills Machine operation Mechanical troubleshooting Quality control inspection Basic math and measurements Understanding of production documentation/SOPs Lockout/tagout and safety practices Material handling Basic computer data entry Reading production drawings or specs Preventive maintenance basics
