Door Plant Associate - Claremore, OK HireCall is hiring Door Plant Associates for a valued manufacturing client in Claremore, OK! If you enjoy working with your hands, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and have experience with carpentry, framing, remodeling, or general construction, this is a great opportunity to join a growing team.
Pay:
$17.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM Job Responsibilities Build pre-hung door units and complete special-order projects. Assemble wood and metal door units from machined components according to work orders. Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently. Machine door components using various shop equipment. Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy. Record production changes, shortages, and completed work orders. Perform basic preventative maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized. Stock materials as needed and communicate inventory needs to supervisors. Assist with loading materials for customers and delivery drivers. Support additional production and shop projects as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience. Basic computer skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Carpentry, trim carpentry, framing, remodeling, or repair experience is highly preferred. Dependable with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety. Able to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors. Physical Requirements Stand, walk, or move throughout an 8-hour shift. Frequently use hands, wrists, and fingers for repetitive tasks. Lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 100 pounds with assistance as needed. Frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Work in a manufacturing environment with dust, moderate noise, temperature changes, and moving equipment. Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of this safety-sensitive position.
