Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of machinery and a strong understanding of machining processes. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality components while adhering to safety standards and operational guidelines. Duties Operate and monitor machinery, including lathes, stamping presses, and welding equipment, to produce precision parts according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements. Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for production tasks. Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow efficiency in the factory setting. Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain production quality. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Skills Proficiency in operating lathes and other machining equipment. Strong understanding of blueprint reading and technical documentation. Familiarity with SolidWorks or similar CAD software for design purposes is a plus. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Experience with logic controllers is advantageous for machine operation. Background in warehouse operations or factory settings preferred. Knowledge of stamping press operations is beneficial. Ability to weld is a plus but not required.
