Temp-to-Hire Job Order #: 127983 Position Overview Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dependable Saw Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Claremore. This position is responsible for safely operating industrial saw equipment to cut metal, steel, and other materials according to production specifications. The ideal candidate has manufacturing or machine operation experience, can accurately measure materials, and takes pride in producing precise cuts while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards. Required Experience & Skills Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or saw operation experience preferred Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations Ability to read and follow work orders, cut lists, and production specifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to safely handle raw materials and finished components Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Essential Duties & Responsibilities Operate band saws, cold saws, and other industrial cutting equipment safely and efficiently Read and interpret work orders, cut lists, and production specifications Measure, mark, and cut materials to required dimensions Load and unload raw materials using appropriate material-handling equipment Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, or other equipment when trained and authorized Inspect finished cuts to verify dimensional accuracy and product quality Monitor saw performance and report equipment concerns or production issues Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and production requirements Perform additional material processing and production duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications Previous industrial saw operating experience Metal fabrication or steel processing experience Forklift operating experience Overhead crane experience Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial production equipment Physical Requirements Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift Frequent walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and material handling Ability to safely work around moving machinery and material-handling equipment while wearing required PPE Comfortable performing physically demanding work in a manufacturing environment Work Environment Industrial manufacturing and metal processing facility Exposure to saw equipment, raw steel, forklifts, overhead cranes, and moving machinery Fast-paced production environment focused on safety, accuracy, and productivity Team-oriented workplace requiring dependable attendance and consistent attention to quality Why You'll Want This Opportunity Competitive starting pay of $19.50/hour Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity Weekly pay Opportunity to develop industrial saw operation and metal processing skills Experience with forklifts, overhead cranes, and material-handling equipment Excellent opportunity to build a long-term career in manufacturing and fabrication Ready to Apply?
