Job Summary:

Assist donors by receiving and unloading donations with friendliness and courtesy.

Key Responsibilities:

Track sorting metrics by maintaining tally sheets for equipment processed daily. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, adhering to company safety policies and procedures. Position large items for easy pickup. Use appropriate equipment to load and unload trucks and trailers. Welcome donors, assist with unloading, issue receipts, distribute flyers and bags. Record donations and equipment. Sort donations according to guidelines. Follow and understand safety protocols and participate in related training. Responsible for securing locations at the end of the business day. Skills & Experience Manage ventilation during hot weather. Perform additional tasks as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting to 50 lbs. and pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs., standing, bending, and reaching. Education & Certifications Onjobtraining such as serving asa learneror trainee on the job under the instruction of qualifiedworkers. Anything beyond short demonstration up to and including30 days.
