Openings is in East Tulsa This is a Bystronic Laser and Sen Feng Must be able to read a tape measure and shop blueprints 3+ years experience 6am-4:30pm Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fiber Laser Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining fiber laser cutting machines to produce precise metal components. Your expertise will ensure high-quality output, efficient production workflows, and adherence to safety standards. Duties Set up fiber laser cutting machines by programming with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software, ensuring accurate specifications are met. Operate fiber laser equipment safely and efficiently to cut various metals according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser machinery, including Fanuc controls and CNC systems, to minimize downtime. Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical specifications to produce precise parts. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify dimensions and ensure product quality. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment; prepare raw materials for processing on the fabrication line. Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, fabrication projects, and packaging of finished products. Maintain accurate production logs, shift reports, and quality documentation in compliance with manufacturing standards. Experience Proven experience operating fiber laser cutting machines in a manufacturing or factory environment. Strong knowledge of CNC programming, CAM programming, and blueprint reading. Familiarity with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, press brake machines, welding equipment, and fabrication tools. Hands-on experience with mechanical knowledge related to tooling setup, materials handling, assembly processes, and quality control procedures. Ability to use hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring instruments accurately. Prior warehouse or factory experience involving packaging, inventory management, or assembly line work is preferred. Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations involved in machining operations. Knowledge of SolidWorks or CAD software is advantageous for interpreting design files.
