Machine Operators will play a key role in manufacturing operations, monitoring equipment performance, and contributing to quality product output. Velocity offers competitive pay, full benefit package and 401K matching.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operate machinery to assist in the production process
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspection of equipment
  • Troubleshoot machinery issues and resolve minor problems
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products
  • Collaborate with supervisors and fellow team members to optimize production
  • Operate basic hand tools and powered hand tools
  • Handle materials - within the shop and outdoors as required
  • Perform work safely and follow established work procedures
  • Perform housekeeping duties
  • Perform general tasks as assigned by supervisor
Minimum Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to handle both basic math and print reading
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to safely lift 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, product designs, safety, quality, and workflow needs
  • Availability to work overtime if needed
Pay:
From $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
