Contract Type FullTime Category LightIndustrial Location Fairview , PA Salary $16.00/hr Date Published 09-11-2026 Reference Number 26081 Heavy/Lite Assembly A manufacturing facility in the Fairview, PA area is seeking a reliable Heavy Assembler for a 1st shift opening. This role involves hands-on assembly of larger, heavier components in a production environment, with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and steady production output. Responsibilities Assemble components using hand tools and fasteners such as screws, bolts, clips, and rivets Handle and position heavier parts and assemblies throughout the build process Inspect, deburr, and clean parts to ensure quality standards are met Follow basic blueprints, work instructions, and production procedures Operate equipment such as drill presses, punch presses, and riveting machines Use electric and air-powered torque tools and read torque measurements accurately Package finished products according to company standards for shipment Complete required documentation and production records Identify and correct minor assembly issues as they arise Qualifications and Skills 3-6 months of related manufacturing or assembly experience preferred Ability to read and understand basic blueprints and written instructions Basic math skills (measurements, counting, simple calculations) Comfortable using hand tools and small equipment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform physical, hands-on work throughout the shift Must be able to stand, bend, twist, and move throughout the shift Ability to distinguish colors (important for certain tasks) Able to read and write in English Must be able to complete a background check Benefits/Compensation Full Time $16/hr 1st shift Monday-Friday 7a-3:30p Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts Benefits available while employed through Career Concepts Company benefits available after hire Location Fairview, PA About Career Concepts Staffing Services, Inc.
