Unlike most label manufacturing companies who rely on outside vendors to supply adhesive coated materials, we manufacture our own custom label stock. We have 10" and 13" press lines. In this role, you will operate and control the equipment, either as the sole operator or part of a 2 operator team depending on which machine you operate. Both machines are capable of printing, coating and converting and are extremely versatile for producing a variety of tapes, labels and custom adhesive products. Our equipment is capable of running dual webs or a single web, can print graphics, coat adhesive and perform die-cutting all in one pass. You will be manufacturing linerless adhesive products, as well as pressure-sensitive laminations and double-sided tapes. We believe you have Prior production/manufacturing machine operation experience. 2+ years preferred. Basic machine maintenance skills, mechanical aptitude Quality inspection and machine systems handling experience. Intermediate computer skills Dependability and reliability Basic math skills, basic reading comprehension Ability to read, understand and comply with work directions, training manuals, safety rules, standard operating procedures Must be available to work 12 hours shifts of 36 hrs/week and 48 hrs/week (5am-5pm and 5pm-5am) What you will do Stage, load and prepare paper rolls at the coater unwind, unload finished rolls at the coater rewind. Setup and operate Flexographic print stations, Gravure stations, silicone stations, hotmelt stations, rotary diecutting stations, and webbing the machine. Understand the quality standards, perform quality inspections using automated inspection equipment, and perform standard tests. Maintain logs and reports, reporting any anomalies that impact the quality of the process, complying with the product specifications. Prevent waste generation by ensuring procedures are followed. Physical requirements necessary to perform this job: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. 1st shift 5am-5pm; No weekends.
