Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Acoustic Guitar Set Up Technician to join our crew. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring each acoustic guitar is expertly prepared to deliver optimal sound quality, playability, and aesthetic appeal. Your craftsmanship will directly impact the musical experience of artists and enthusiasts alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with high-quality instruments, honing your skills in guitar setup and maintenance while contributing to a vibrant musical community. Duties Carefully inspect each acoustic guitar before putting on the neck - dovetail joint. Route for Bridge/glue, install frets, string up, make nut/saddle and set up guitars Collaborate with team members to uphold quality standards and share best practices for guitar setup Requirements Proven experience in guitar setup, repair, or lutherie with a focus on acoustic instruments Strong understanding of guitar anatomy, acoustics, and stringed instrument mechanics Ability to use specialized tools such as fret files, nut slotting files, truss rod wrenches, and electronic tuners accurately Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to craftsmanship and precision Good communication skills with other members of crew Ability to work efficiently and maintaining high-quality standards Knowledge of different wood types and finishes is a plus Join us if you have experienced skills in guitar craftsmanship and want to work on instruments that inspire musicians around the world.
