Manufacturing Full Job Description Job Opportunity:

Packaging Operator A client of ours in Tualatin is looking to add Packaging Operators to their team. They are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, with experience in food processing or production preferred.

Responsibilities:

Operate conveyor, accumulator, capper, labeler, and printer Perform sanitation and rework duties as needed Conduct package and case integrity tests to ensure quality. Maintain sanitary environment at all times Ensure supplies are stocked up and in appropriate designated location Keep accurate, detailed and neatly written documentation. Ensure food safety and quality protocols are followed. Enforce Safety and GMP regulations. Responsible for providing coverage in the absence of other Packaging Operators. Ensure Redzone downtime codes are accurate. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Ability to become a certified forklift operator is required. Strong English communication skills (reading/speaking) and basic math skills required for use of Redzone software. Must be able to work a 12-hour shift on your feet for the entire duration. Must be able to push up to 300 lbs, pull up to 500 lbs with assistance, and frequently lift/carry up to 50 lbs. Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills required.

Schedule:

Day Shift:

Thursday•Saturday, e/o Wednesday, 6AM•6:30

PM Overnight Shift:

Sunday•Tuesday, e/o Saturday, 6PM•6:30

AM Pay:

$18•$19.50 an hour (depending on schedule)

Duration:

This is a temporary position.

Note:

This position concludes in July 2026. Candidates who remain active through the end of the month will be eligible for four weeks of pay, plus a $1,000 bonus for each month worked, upon transition to a regular employee.
