Job Description

Restek's Reference Standards team produces high-purity certified materials relied on by scientists and laboratories worldwide and the accuracy of what they receive starts here, with you. We are seeking a Reference Standards Packager to our team! This is a temporary position with the potential to transition to a full-time role based on business need and performance. As a Reference Standards Packager, you'll play a hands-on role in preparing, processing, and packaging products that meet our exacting quality and regulatory standards. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week schedule, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM with the potential for overtime. What You'll Do Package, label, seal, and prepare finished goods for shipment or storage, following detailed work instructions and SOPs Perform ampule filling and flame sealing — skilled, detail-oriented work central to product integrity Operate and maintain basic packaging equipment safely Inspect products and materials for quality issues or defects before shipment or storage Assist with inventory movement and supply management to support uninterrupted production Maintain accurate production and packaging records in company databases Identify and flag discrepancies or data concerns before they become downstream problems Handle chemicals and equipment safely, referencing Safety Data Sheets (SDS) as needed Follow all Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies and regulatory requirements Communicate equipment malfunctions, product concerns, or safety hazards promptly to your lead or supervisor What You Bring HS diploma/GED Manufacturing, packaging, or lab experience (preferred) Attention to detail Ability to follow SOPs Team player who communicates well Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Work Environment & Physical Requirements Work is performed in a controlled production environment involving chemical handling and packaging equipment Role requires extended periods of standing, walking, and repetitive tasks DEA and ATF clearances required for handling regulated materials (Restek will guide you through this process) Overtime and weekend availability may be needed based on production volume This position will require the successful completion of a standard background check in accordance with Restek policy.
