Custom Filters Direct is seeking a Machine Technician to support our growing manufacturing operation in Bloomsburg, PA. This position is responsible for operating, monitoring, adjusting, troubleshooting, and maintaining our automated production equipment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with machinery, diagnosing issues, making mechanical adjustments, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently throughout the shift. This is not a traditional maintenance position. The Machine Technician works directly with production equipment daily, keeping machines running, responding to issues as they occur, and helping minimize downtime. Responsibilities Operate and monitor automated production equipment Troubleshoot machine issues and production interruptions Perform machine adjustments to maintain product quality and production efficiency Diagnose and resolve minor mechanical issues Perform preventative maintenance and routine equipment inspections Use hand tools and power tools to complete repairs and adjustments Assist with machine setups and product changeovers Identify potential equipment problems before they result in downtime Maintain accurate communication regarding equipment performance and repair needs Support production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards Qualifications Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience required Previous machine operation experience preferred Comfortable using hand tools and power tools Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to learn automated equipment and manufacturing processes Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to read and write in English Physical Requirements Ability to stand and move throughout the shift Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and working around machinery Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Ability to safely perform hands-on mechanical work throughout the workday Compensation & Benefits Weekly pay Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance after 90 days 40 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) after 90 days 8 Paid Holidays Opportunities for growth and advancement Why Join Custom Filters Direct?
