Description Viking Plastics in Corry, PA is looking for an experienced Set-Up Technician to join our Team!

Essential Job Functions:

Set-up, change, and remove injection molds in accordance with production schedules.

Prepare molding machines for production, including installing molds, connecting water, air, hydraulics, and hot runner systems.

Verify mold alignment, clamp tonnage, and machine parameters to ensure proper operation.

Understand and perform work under best-practice guidelines

Inspect molds, tooling, and equipment for wear, damage, or maintenance needs

Ensure molds and machines meet safety, quality, and production standards

Document set-up parameters, changes, and issues per company procedures

Work closely with Process Technicians, Operators, Maintenance, and Quality teams in adherence with

ISO/TS 16949

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company and OSHA standards

Communicate equipment and output problems to shift supervisors

Experience/Skills:

Two year's experience in set-up of molds in plastic injection molding machines

Knowledge of basic hand tools and measuring instruments

Must be able to demonstrate good communication skills both verbal and written form
