Assembly Worker -Cabinet Manufacturing Position Overview:
As an Assembly Worker in our cabinet manufacturing facility, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for assembling high-quality cabinets. This role involves working with various materials, tools, and machinery to produce finished cabinets that meet both design specifications and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:
Cabinet Assembly:
Assemble cabinet parts such as panels, doors, shelves, and hardware according to blueprints and specifications. Ensure all pieces fit together precisely and securely.Material Handling:
Manage and prepare materials (wood, laminate, hardware) for assembly. Transport materials safely to designated workstations.Quality Control:
Inspect each assembled unit to ensure it meets design and quality standards. Identify defects or inconsistencies and report them to the supervisor. Ensure that all work meets the company's quality assurance guidelines.Tool & Equipment Operation:
Operate power tools and machinery, such as drills, saws, and screwdrivers, to assemble parts accurately and efficiently. Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition.Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to all workplace safety standards and company policies, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other assembly workers and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines. Communicate effectively to solve any assembly issues that arise.Packaging & Shipping Prep:
Once assemblies are complete, package finished units properly for shipment. Assist in preparing cabinets for delivery, ensuring they are well-protected during transportation.Qualifications:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly role, particularly in cabinet or furniture production, is preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and quality control. Basic math skills for measurements and material calculation. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds.Working Conditions:
The position requires working in a manufacturing environment, which may involve exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals. Workers must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.Job Type:
