• Honing Operator
• for a
• full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity

•. This is a key production role in a precision manufacturing environment where safety, quality, and attention to detail are essential. The Honing Operator will be responsible for safely loading and unloading heavy industrial rollers, operating overhead cranes, monitoring machine performance, and ensuring equipment runs within required specifications. Additional duties include completing daily production checklists, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and transporting large rolls between departments using carts or material handling equipment (rolls may exceed 2,000 lbs.). This position requires the ability to work with

• extremely tight tolerances (as precise as .0005)
• and use precision measuring tools such as micrometers.

Candidates will receive training on reading work orders, inspection reports, mechanical blueprints, setting TIR using dial indicators, safe crane operation, and inventory control systems.

Qualifications:

• General understanding of basic hand tools
• Basic math skills
• High attention to detail
• Valid driver's license required
• Willingness to learn precision measurement and machine operation processes

Pay:

$17-$19/hr. based on experience
