CLIMATE CONTROL! Job Description This role operates grinder machines in a clean, climate-controlled machine shop to produce Anilox rolls. You will work on rotating or steady shifts, apply basic math skills, and use hand and power tools to support consistent, high-quality production in a setting that is not labor intensive. Responsibilities Operate grinder machines safely and efficiently to produce Anilox rolls according to specifications. Set up, adjust, and monitor machine settings to maintain consistent product quality. Use hand and power tools as needed to support machine operation and basic adjustments. Handle general production tasks such as loading and unloading materials and organizing work areas. Follow established procedures and safety guidelines within the machine shop environment. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain workflow across shifts. Perform basic inspections of parts and equipment to identify issues and report them promptly. Maintain a clean and orderly work area to support a safe and efficient operation. Demonstrate reliability by arriving on time, being prepared for assigned shifts, and completing tasks as scheduled. Essential Skills Experience in general labor, production, or assembly environments. Hands-on experience with machine operation or machine operating in a manufacturing or shop setting. Ability to operate or learn to operate grinder machines safely. Comfort using hand and power tools in a production or construction environment. Basic math skills to support measurements, counts, and machine settings. Willingness to learn new processes and equipment. Demonstrated reliability and strong attendance. Experience in related fields such as construction, landscaping, or forklift operation is beneficial. Additional Skills & Qualifications Construction, landscaping, or similar hands-on work. Experience with forklift operation in a production or warehouse environment. Previous experience in a machine shop or manufacturing facility. Comfort working across multiple shifts or on a rotating schedule. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures. Steady 2nd or 3rd shift available (3p-11p, 11p-7a OR a swing shift of all 3 shifts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Donora, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
