1st Shift | 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM | 2-2-3 (days)Rotating Schedule Pay Rate:

6Months Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of assembly, manufacturing, or related experience
- Mechanical aptitude demonstrated through work experience, technical coursework, or hobbies
- Ability to follow detailed assembly and testing instructions
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment
- Ability to read and understand simple layouts and assembly drawings
- Basic computer skills and ability to enter work hours into an ERP system, preferably SAP
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and manufacturing conditions
Responsibilities:
- Assemble gas meters for residential use
- Perform repetitive mechanical assembly tasks requiring precision and attention to detail
- Follow all workplace safety and product quality policies and complete site-specific training
- Receive components and materials for assembly and testing in the required sequence
- Assemble and test mechanical or electrical components
- Follow assembly and testing instructions, including color coding, PVC thermal welding, and thread taping
- Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, and fixtures to complete assembly tasks
- Enter work hours into the ERP system and complete required production documentation
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and daily housekeeping/5S audits
- Read and follow simple layouts and assembly drawings
