Sewing Technician Commercial Employees - 3.2 Duquesne, PA Job Details $15.05 - $16.05 an hour 17 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Life insurance Qualifications Basic math Full Job Description We are filling multiple Machine Operator positions in the Duquesne area. You will fill, sew and bag pillows. 1st/2nd Shift Available These Machine Operator positions require a 2-2-3 work schedule. The benefits of this schedule are only working 14 days a month, every other week you get OT, and every other week you have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off!
Machine Operator Duties:
Operate single needle sewing machines You will fill pillow shells with fiber, place the pillow on the conveyor and check pillow weight Responsible for replacing needles and re-threading machines Safety is a priority. All employees are responsible for careful and safe use of all equipment and property. Experience as an Industrial Seamstress, Tailor, or Embroiderer helpful, but not required
Machine Operator Requirements:
Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods during shift Must be able to lift 35 pounds & basic math skills 12-hour shifts: 6a - 6p @ $15.05 per hour - weekly pay 6pm-6am @ $16.05 per hour - weekly pay Medical, Dental & Life insurance available Commercial Employees is a veteran-led staffing firm with 7 Pittsburgh offices and 2 in Charleston.
