Job Description
Coral Graphics, Inc. is a major manufacturer of specialized printed products and part of the Bertelsmann US Printing Group. This position is responsible for setting-up and operating the sakurai machine to meet or exceed customer quality specifications. Accountable and ultimately responsible for the quality and quantity of material produced and all related documentation. This is a Full-Time position requiring 40 hours per week.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reads job specifications and previous run data to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Ensures job and material is in order prior to machine set up. Loads and unloads roll stock. Set up/adjust lamination for job runs according to customer specifications. Produce all jobs in a quality manner using quality guidelines set forth by supervision. Monitor product for quality during job runs. Monitor equipment during runs. Remain alert to mechanical problems. Refer, as necessary, to equipment techs, supervisors, or lead operators. Perform routine equipment maintenance and upkeep. Self-initiate the start-up and running of jobs in keeping with production schedule. Communicate job status and problems with oncoming operator during shift changeovers. Maintain positive working relationships and promote teamwork. Adhere to all safety guidelines. Keep workspace clean and organized for efficiency in shift changeover. Other duties, as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to run high speed equipment with quality production Read and understand job tickets Lifting of paper and screens all day: 20lbs and over Bending and twisting all day On your feet all day, no sitting Ability to read a ruler Must have strong attention to details, good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Training:
Training may be conducted at the Berryville location for up to six months or longer, as needed.
