We're looking for detail-oriented, dependable individuals to join our Tavil Department as a Tavil Scale Operator . In this role, you will help ensure our products are accurately weighed, labeled, and prepared for shipment while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. What You'll Do Weigh and label product cases accurately before they are boxed and prepared for shipment. Verify tray counts and ensure the correct labels and production dates are applied. Identify products and use the appropriate packaging, including Organic and RWA (Raised Without Antibiotics) boxes. Operate the weight-price labeling machine and verify that all printed information is accurate. Ensure all case labels match the product and master case label information. Change label rolls and perform basic maintenance of labeling equipment as needed. Clean and maintain the scale and work area at the end of each shift. Assist with hand-stacking and palletizing cases weighing up to 50 pounds when production requires. Immediately report and address any food safety, quality, or workplace safety concerns. Follow all company policies, food safety standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor. Commitment to workplace safety and producing high-quality products. Dependable attendance and a positive attitude. Qualifications Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred, but not required. Previous experience operating weighing or labeling equipment is a plus. No formal education is required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift. Ability to lift and hand-palletize cases weighing up to 50 pounds . Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. Language Requirements Ability to communicate effectively in English and/or Spanish . Ability to read and understand safety rules, work instructions, and operating procedures. Ability to complete routine documentation and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members. Why Bell & Evans?
