Job Description

About the Role As a Warehouse Material Handler, you will play a critical role in the seamless flow of goods by operating industrial lift equipment to manage inventory and support production output. You will be responsible for ensuring that materials are moved safely and efficiently, directly impacting the productivity and organization of our distribution operations. Responsibilities Operate motorized forklifts to load, unload, and transport pallets throughout the warehouse facility. Utilize onboard Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to accurately track inventory movements and fulfill production requirements. Optimize production workflows by proactively staging materials and clearing finished goods from assembly areas. Ensure high levels of inventory accuracy by monitoring stock levels and reporting any discrepancies immediately. Maintain a safe and hazard-free work environment by adhering to all operational safety standards and traffic protocols. Perform routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure machinery remains in peak working condition. Document all material handling activities and movements to maintain precise digital records. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience operating a sit-down or stand-up forklift in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and best practices. Ability to interpret and execute tasks through a digital WMS interface. High school diploma or equivalent certification. Preferred Skills Prior experience in a high-volume manufacturing or logistics setting. Mechanical aptitude for basic equipment troubleshooting and maintenance. Demonstrated ability to work independently while meeting strict production deadlines.
