Pallet Dismantler Location:
Dover, PA Pay:

$11.00/hr starting out and a weekly attendance bonus.

Primary Responsibilities:
Pallet Dismantling:

Operate the pallet dismantling machine, ensuring safe and efficient dismantling of inbound pallets. As the pusher, push pallets through the machine; as the puller, pull dismantled pallets through the machine. Change broken or loose blades to ensure continuous operation. Unjam pallets or boards stuck in the machine, maintaining minimal downtime.

Quality Control & Prep:

Ensure pallets are free of debris before dismantling. Dismantle pallets in a manner that minimizes damage and cut marks to the materials. Properly prepare dismantled parts by removing protruding nails, screws, and other materials that could affect further processing. Send quality recycled parts to the lumber sorter for further processing. Operate the pallet dismantling machine, ensuring safe and efficient dismantling of inbound pallets. Job Requirements:

Must be 18 years or older Able to lift up to 50 lbs Able to stand for the full shift Ability to read a tape measure is required. Works well with others Self-driven and able to keep up in a fast-paced, physical job Reliable and shows up to work on time
