• Packing (Machine Operator, Subway Packing) to join our team at our Hazleton, PA bakery.

As an Operator 2, you will operate and monitor packaging equipment to ensure a consistent flow of finished goods, accurate labeling, and compliance with food safety, quality, and production standards.

• 10:30 PM Weekend availability: Required Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing) Operate, set up, and monitor packaging equipment to maintain efficient and continuous production flow.

Monitor product quality, labeling accuracy, and metal detection systems to ensure compliance with food safety and company standards. Support production schedules by preparing materials, communicating with team members, and minimizing downtime and waste. Perform equipment adjustments, changeovers, startups, and shutdowns to maintain operational efficiency. Complete all required production, quality, and safety documentation accurately and on time. Communicate effectively with Production, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Shipping to resolve issues promptly. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following GMPs and safe operating procedures. Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table) High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Basic math and timekeeping skills. Ability to make logical decisions in a fastpaced production environment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift. Ability to lift, push, or move up to 50 pounds and frequently carry items over 20 pounds. Willingness to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and variable production schedules as required. Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success) Previous experience in a food manufacturing or packaging environment. Familiarity with HACCP, metal detection systems, and food safety practices. Experience operating packaging, labeling, or palletizing equipment.
