Machine Operator

CNC Machine Operator (Vertical Mill, Horizontal Mill & Lathe)Overview We're hiring a CNC Machine Operator to run CNC Vertical Mills, CNC Horizontal Mills, and CNC Lathes and produce precision components to engineering specifications. What You'll Do Machine Operation Operate and maintain CNC Vertical Mills, CNC Horizontal Mills, and CNC Lathes, including tooling and work holding devices Load raw materials, calibrate machines, and verify proper alignment before production Adjustments and Interpretations Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and job orders to determine machining requirements Adjust CNC programs (G-code) to ensure accurate machining Quality Control Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) Monitor machine operations and make real-time adjustments to maintain tolerances Maintenance & Documentation Conduct routine maintenance and keep machines clean and operational Maintain accurate production records and report deviations from specifications Safety & Compliance Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or CNC certification preferred 1-3 years of experience operating CNC Vertical Mills, Horizontal Mills, and/or Lathes Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Proficiency with CNC programming and understanding of G-code Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills Nice to Have Experience with Fanuc, Haas, or similar CNC controls Knowledge of precision measurement and defect detection Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines Benefits, Growth & Bonus Opportunity We offer an excellent benefits package and a workplace where strong performance is recognized.
