Filter Manufacturing This position is responsible for the safe production of quality dust collection filters. This product line is essential to the growth and success of Imperial Systems. Duties and Responsibilities Safe set-up, operation, and basic maintenance of all equipment required to manufacture quality dust collection filters; examples include: filter media pleating machine, pleating seamer, core coiling machine, spot welder, urethane dispenser, glue dispensers, shrink wrap machine, cording machine, and various other hand tools and devices as required. Perform and document essential traceability information, quality and process checks to specifications. Perform general cleaning and housekeeping Follow all SOP's and JSA's Operation of forklifts and hoists Check quality of work to drawings/specification and part quantity Complete paperwork as required. Timecards, process checks, check sheets, etc. Other tasks as instructed by supervision Qualifications High school or GED, Vo-Tech or trade school preferred 1 - 2 years experience in industrial/manufacturing environment Specific skills: Spot welding/welding (preferred), Forklift (preferred) Physical abilities: Standing full shift, lifting up to 50 lbs, exposure to loud noises may require hearing protection, exposure to chemicals and fumes may require use of respirator, various sheet metal products may require specific PPE protection, communication with others, some repetitive motion
