Light Assembly Worker (Full Time)
Supervisor:
Operations Manager Positions Supervised:
None Job Summary:
Responsible for performing production work in an industrial environment. Assembles finished product using both manual and semi-automated processes. Required to start, operate, tend, stop, and clean machinery. Inspects finished product for quality assurance. Perform all functions and responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner.
Education/Experience:
High School diploma Experience in a production environment preferred
Job Requirements/Skills:
Demonstrated hand assembly skills Knowledge of production process and importance of efficiency Ability to work with small parts for extended period of time Demonstrated analytical skills Computer proficiency
Essential Functions:
Identify necessary items for product assembly Load and unload components from machines, carts, dollies and storage units Clean production area and remove debris from production machines and assembly stations Feed or place items into equipment for processing Pull damaged or defective components out of production Load and unload production equipment Measure various aspects of product and record data Read and interpret gauges Label parts for identification Ensure conformance to specifications Perform all other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
Occasionally lift up to 70 pounds Sit for extended periods of time Use computer keyboard, mouse and other office and production equipment
