Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in plastic container production, is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be an integral part of the production process, supporting the manufacturing department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Shift:
8-hour 2nd shift 3:50pm-12:20am What's the Job? Operate blow-mold, trimming, and conveyor machinery to produce high-quality plastic containers. Perform quality inspections, including drop tests and weight checks, to ensure product compliance with customer specifications. Troubleshoot process issues, make necessary adjustments, and perform minor maintenance to maintain smooth operations. Monitor supply levels of packaging materials and replenish as needed to prevent production delays. Prepare daily production reports, document rejects, regrinds, and line efficiencies, and adhere to safety standards at all times. What's Needed? High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use tools such as calipers and micrometers. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or manuals. Physical ability to work in a loud environment with fluctuating temperatures and to wear personal protective equipment (PPE). What's in it for me?
