Feed Mill Technician (Second Shift)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform all duties in a safe manner consistent with CVFF policies, procedures and safety training. Monitor ingredient and finished feed inventories, as required. Maintain good housekeeping consistent with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in assigned areas. Perform general labor duties as assigned by management. Ensure micro-bins are filled according to SOPs. Collect all required samples as defined in the Quality Assurance Manual and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Perform all required testing as outlined in the SOPs. Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation. Monitor batching, pelleting, fat application, grinding and routing processes. Input information into computer automation system accurately. Operate equipment, automatically or manually, via computer automation consistent with procedures. Promote safe work practices through example and maintain a lost work day incident rate equal to zero. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
