WE ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR A 2ND SHIFT BALER OPERATOR IN OUR NEW OXFORD, PA FACILITY RESPONSIBILITIES
Check waste carts and loads for correct waste tag information with signatures. Help keep a clean work environment for safety reasons. Communicate with the Operator on Baler and Shredder performance, while exchanging information to the incoming Operator. Document any movement and perform a checklist of baler and shredder machines prior to start up. Communicate issues or restraints to the Supervisor. Weigh and spray paint all good dunnage for identification and complete documentation needed for accurate accounting. Complete the soak and pin test to get familiar with the quality processes of the corrugator.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High School Graduate or GED. Qualified to drive a lift truck. Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment. Good attendance record. Strong mechanical aptitude and possess problem solving skills. Ability to work any shift including overtime and weekends, as needed. Must be authorized to work in the
U.S. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Starting salary for position: $25.16 per hour.
Bonus:
Annual - Based upon achievement of plant performance metrics.
Paid Vacation:
TWO weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year. Paid Holidays. Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision - and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages. Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions.
