Job Summary The Rental Leader / Driver is a key field leadership position responsible for the safe operation of company trucks and trailers, delivery, setup, maintenance, and cleanliness of rental equipment for events. This role combines hands-on operational work with team leadership, customer interaction, and equipment oversight. As a front-line representative of C&K Party Rentals, the Rental Leader represents the company at all times and must conduct themselves professionally, respectfully, and responsibly with customers, venues, and the public. The Rental Leader ensures every event is executed safely, efficiently, and professionally while maintaining company standards for equipment care and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Manage and maintain equipment, including but not limited to rental inventory, truck, and trailer Learn all C&K Party Rentals' booking software and feel comfortable booking a new client, and/or making changes to current bookings Good communication skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently, without supervision Run an event smoothly. Delegate tasks to employees and make sure customers are happy, and most importantly, safe Train new employees on correct procedures during setup and teardown Give feedback to co-workers and ensure efficiency Keep Trucks and trailers organized and clean Make sure all trucks have fuel in them and do not run out while they are in your possession Check all vehicles before leaving for set-ups. Make sure you have everything you need. If you have to run back to the shop, it makes you behind for the entire day. Things happen, and we want to minimize them Safety checks before leaving on all sites. Make sure the customers are safe, happy, and briefed on the operations of their rental units, as well as all state requirements Weekly check-ins with owners. Make sure employees you supervise, and you, are meeting C&K Party Rentals standards Requirements Be able to submit background checks and clearances Be 18 and have a valid driver's license. Legal ability to work in the US and the state of PA Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. Must be able to drive a truck and enclosed trailer (16ft) competently. If you are not capable of driving a truck and trailer, but are willing to learn. We will have you be an assistant rental leader and train you when we have time. You will have to be completely competent and confident in driving said truck and trailer before we would be willing to let you drive one on your own! Work all weekends, weekdays, nights, and
